Police K9 Uncovers Over 2 Pounds Of Meth During Traffic Stop

An Anderson Police K9 assisted in a big drug bust Tuesday. An APD Officer made a traffic stop on 32-year-old Vicente Medina, who’s from the Central California Town of Delhi. The officer spoke with him about his travel plans and they didn’t seem to make sense, so the officer had Aero the K9 take a walk around the car. He alerted to the presence of drugs and a search allegedly turned up 2.5 pounds of Methamphetamine and 16 Grams of Cocaine hidden in a space beneath the floorboard. Medina was booked into jail.
