PG&E Adds 2 Helicopters To Patrol Remote Areas

PG&E has reached an agreement with a Red Bluff company to provide two heavy-lift helicopters as part of the company’s new Community Wildfire Safety Program. The newly added aircraft were secured through an exclusive agreement with PJ Helicopters. The primary purpose of the new helicopters is to help PG&E patrol remote and hard to reach areas across its 70,000 square mile service area. In addition to supporting utility work, the Sikorsky UH-60 fleet will be made available to first responders if requested during wildfire events.
