A Tehama County child molester who tried to leave his troubles behind by moving to Indiana has been given the maximum sentence. While living in Red Bluff, 42-year-old Santos Dejesus Portillo Guzman molested two girls under the age of 10 over the course of 5 to 8 years, until he moved to Indiana. He was extradited to face trial. Thursday a sentencing hearing included emotional impact statements by his victims. Guzman was sentenced to 140 years to life in state prison.
