A fire near Hyampom in Trinity County has been remapped and it’s now reported as 1228 acres. It still has zero containment. About 100 homes are threatened, though none have been lost. Mandatory evacuations are in effect for residents on County Road 311 from Lake Mountain Ranch to Dead Man’s Point. A public meeting will be held at the Hyampom Volunteer Fire Department at 6PM Friday evening.
