K9 Helps Deputies Arrest Driver After High Speed Pursuit

A Red Bluff man led Tehama County Sheriff’s Deputies on a high speed chase Tuesday night. A little after 7 O’clock a deputy spotted a black Ford pickup on Antelope Boulevard that looked like a truck involved in several recent thefts in the area. When the deputy tried to pull the pickup over, the driver fled eastbound and continued south on Highway 99 at over a hundred miles an hour. The truck stopped in Los Molinos off Tehama Vina Road and the driver ran. 28-year-old Allen Michael Darling was apprehended with the help of Raco the K9. He had several warrants for violating his post release supervision and was also booked for felony evading and resisting arrest.
