Parolee Arrested At Downtown Safeway With Fake Gun

A parolee has been arrested in Downtown Redding on Wednesday for threatening multiple drivers with an imitation gun, according to police. 30-year-old Anthony Martin Parks was easy to identify because of the many tattoos on his face and neck. When officers arrived at the Safeway at Cypress and Pine Street, parks reportedly was still holding the replica handgun. He dropped it when told to do so and was taken into custody. Parks was booked into jail for the third time in the last couple of weeks. He was picked up on parole violations on the 22nd and 29th of September and both times was released due to overcrowding.
