KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. (AP) – Authorities in southern Oregon say police shot and killed a male suspect and are searching for a woman who ran from the scene near Modoc Point. Klamath County Sheriff Chris Kaber says the man was shot Friday morning in the area of Modoc Point just off of U.S. Highway 97 in southern Oregon. He says no officers were seriously injured. He did not immediately provide details about what led to the shooting. The incident temporarily closed the highway in both directions.
