An East Redding house was damaged by an attic fire Sunday. Redding Fire Department was called at around 4 O’clock by neighbors who saw smoke coming from the eaves of the house in the cul-de-sac of Summerfield Court, located off Victor Avenue near Enterprise Park. Firefighters quickly determined that nobody was home extinguished the blaze. The damage was estimated at around $25,000, and was mostly limited to the attic. At last word, the man who resides there had not yet gotten home to see what happened.
