After a series of grass fires east of Red Bluff ripped through nearly 4,000 acres on Sunday, they grew only by about 40 acres Monday. The Sun Fires are burning off Highway 36 and Sunriver Road. An evacuation advisory remains in effect for Stice Road and Andreni Road. Evacuation warnings are in effect for the Hogsback Road Area. The latest estimate is 3,889 acres, now with 60% containment. The cause is not known, but the three fires all started along Highway 36.
