Redding Firefighters made a quick stop on a vegetation fire in North Redding overnight. The fire was burning in an open field near Lake Boulevard and Keswick Dam Road. Four engines responded and held the fire to about a quarter acre. The cause was determined to be from a nearby homeless camp. Fire Investigator Patrick O’Connor says it was right next to a well-traveled walking path.
