A Red Bluff sex offender had a less-than-optimal excuse for failing to update his registration with Tehama County authorities. 40-year-old Jeremy Don Lawrence was arrested by Red Bluff Police September 4th. When asked why he was four days late in renewing his sex offender registration, Lawrence said that two days earlier he had eaten a Gram of Methamphetamine, which caused him to forget. He also had numerous prior convictions for failing to register. He’s been sentenced to 3 years in state prison.
