The Shasta County Marshal’s Office will offer free X-Ray screening of trick-or-treat candy this Halloween. Bags of candy can be brought to the main entrance of the courthouse between 6PM and 8PM Wednesday evening. It’s possible for the screening to pick up glass, metal or plastic embedded in the candy.
