A month after the Redd Sun Festival was held at the Redding Civic Auditorium, a check was presented to help those who suffered losses in the Carr Fire. Advance Redding wrote a check for $25,270 to the Shasta Regional Community Foundation’s Carr Fire Relief Fund. The donation came out of ticket proceeds and contributions from the 9 acts that played at the two day event. Organizers say the festival may be held again in 2019, and will likely follow the same format of one day of rock music and one day of country acts.
