Deputies Make 3 Drug Arrests Near Dunsmuir

A drug related search warrant served near the Shasta/Siskiyou County Line on Thursday was based on a previous traffic stop. On October 21st a Siskiyou County Deputy pulled over 56-year-old Jack Wood and ended up arresting him after allegedly finding 15 Grams of Methamphetamine and a large amount of cash. That led drug agents to get a search warrant Thursday for a house on Crag View Drive south of Dunsmuir. Wood was there, allegedly in possession of another nearly 15 Grams of Meth. Also at the house were 32-year-old Cody Kuntz, who’s on parole, and 45-year-old Joseph Gordon, who had 5 outstanding felony warrants. A search of the home reportedly turned up 17 pounds of processed marijuana and all the components of a butane honey oil lab, as well as various ammunition and a lot of money. All three men were arrested.
