The Yreka CHP is seeking information about a man who hit a car head-on and killed the driver. Sunday afternoon around 5PM, a call came in reporting a white flatbed pickup was swerving badly on Old Highway 99 in the Grenada area. Before a call went out to officers, the pickup crossed into the oncoming lane and hit a Ford Focus head on, instantly killing the car’s driver. Officers arrived to investigate and determined that the pickup’s driver, 22-year-old Tyler Michael Adams-Warf from Yreka, was driving under the influence at the time of the collision. He was arrested for felony DUI at the scene, taken to a hospital for treatment of minor injuries and booked into the Siskiyou County Hail. The CHP is looking for anyone who may have information about Adams-Warf’s whereabouts prior to the crash.
