RPD: Trailer With Stolen Outdoor Gear Returned To Owners

An arrest was made by Redding Police after the recovery of a trailer full of stolen goods Tuesday. The enclosed trailer contained $30,000 worth of outdoor gear. It was stolen sometime Monday night or Tuesday morning from Headwaters Adventure Company on Merchant Street. An investigation led to a home on Doberman Lane in Anderson. When investigators arrived there, they found a trailer of the same size that had just been repainted. It was hitched to a pickup outside the home, and inside that truck was 40-year-old Roy Croft. The trailer still had all the stolen equipment inside, and the pickup had been stolen on October 22nd. Croft was booked into jail and all the stolen stuff was returned.
