Eight more people have been discovered who perished in the Camp Fire. They were all in the Paradise area, two inside structures and two who were outside when they were overtaken by the fire that started one week ago. The death toll from the worst fire in state history is now 56. Butte County Sheriff Kory Honea says 130 more people are listed as missing. More than 460 searchers and nearly two dozen cadaver dogs have been brought in to search for bodies among the ruins. Many elderly are among the missing, and most are from Magalia. The count of destroyed homes continues to rise as well, now reported as 8,650 single family homes and 106 multiple family homes. 260 businesses have also been destroyed. The perimeter of the fire has grown to 140,000 acres. Containment is at 40%. Air tankers and helicopters have been working as much as they can when visibility allows. Around 5500 personnel are assigned to the fire, three of whom have been injured. 52,000 people have been evacuated from their homes. 1385 of them are in shelters.
