A Trinity High School student has returned home to Lewiston after proving herself one of the finest archers in the world. The story of 16-year-old Faith Miller is featured in the Trinity Journal Newspaper. Faith competed at her first international archery event last week in Rome, Italy and broke a world record in a qualifying round before going on to finish with a gold medal in the junior field. Her world record was a 594 out of a possible 600 points for a 60-arrow, 18 meter round with a compound bow. The previous record had held for 12 years. Faith is a Junior at Trinity High School, and returned to school Tuesday morning to a hero’s welcome by the faculty and her classmates.
