A fire reportedly started by a transient caused some damage to Carmona’s Appliance. Early Friday morning, Redding Firefighters responded to fire at 905 Mistletoe Lane. Damage was reported at about $3,000, damaging a fence and the exterior of the appliance store. Redding Fire and Redding Police investigated the incident and took the woman responsible into custody. 5 engines and 15 firefighters responded to the 2:15AM blaze and had it put out in a short time.
