A Red Bluff area man shot his wife to death before turning the gun on himself, according to the Tehama County Sheriff’s Office. The terrible discovery was made at 4 O’clock Wednesday afternoon by the mother of 41-year-old Caleb Anderson. Sheila Anderson called 9-1-1 after finding the bodies of her son and his wife, 38-year-old Toby Celeste Anderson. They were in the living room of their home on River Heights Drive in the Bend area. Detectives found a 9 millimeter semi-auto handgun registered to Caleb Anderson. It’s believed to have been the weapon used. Anyone with information about the couple is asked to contact Tehama County authorities.
