The Redding City Council got a presentation on tourism Tuesday night from the Shasta Cascade Wonderland Association. General Manager Lori Baker told the council that one of the main reasons to promote tourism is to generate tax dollars. Baker says her organization exists solely to promote tourism in the Redding area, and with so many choices that people have when picking a vacation spot, Baker says we need to keep Redding in the forefront of their minds.
