A suspicious circumstance in red bluff that had police seeking some people in a van was apparently a misunderstanding. On February 15th witnesses saw a white minivan stopped in the driveway of a home on Walnut Street as two men struggled to force another man into the van. The apparent victim was yelling for help before the van drove away. The press reporting of the incident led several people to approach Red Bluff Police with leads and detectives now say there was no crime and everyone involved is safe and sound.
