Due to rising Sacramento River levels, the City of Redding Public Works Department will close a portion of Park Marina Drive between Locust Street and Parkview Avenue on Thursday morning at 7AM. Businesses in the area are advised to find an alternate route and prepare for excess water in parking lots and roads. Public works advises drivers to stay mindful of other roads that may experience flooding, and never enter a road that has been closed due to flooding.
