The first of Canadair’s new daily jet flights between Redding and Los Angeles will be this week. The first incoming flight from L.A. will be this Friday night at 9:25PM. The first departing flight, which is sold out, will take off at 6:35AM Saturday morning. Redding Fire Station Number 7 will do a water salute as the plane departs. The daily Redding to L.A. flights are the result of a five year effort by city and business officials.
