A relief organization for Carr and Delta Fire recovery organized by a coalition of local non-profits is up and running. “Norcal CRT” has trained disaster case managers assisting families by connecting them with resources and rebuilding efforts. 24 clients are currently being served and 95 referrals for assistance are pending. All of those being helped are uninsured or under-insured renters and homeowners who experienced a total loss in last Summer’s disastrous Shasta County fires. Those who need assistance to recover from losses from the Carr or Delta Fires are urged to call 247-3371 or go to norcalcrt.org .
