Foothill High Students Headed To State FFA Competition

Two Foothill High School students are heading to a state Future Farmers of America competition after winning the regionals, a first for the high school. One is doing her research in beekeeping. Bailey Alexander, working for Wootens Queens and Bees, is in the state top three in the area of specialty animals. The other student, Garett Cook, is in the top three in the area of viticulture. He’s learning winemaking at Anselmo vineyards. The statewide event is in Anaheim next month and they need sponsors to fund the trip. Anyone who wishes to help them out can contact Allison Gross at Foothill High School.
