Transient Arrested After Being Reported As Suspicious Person

The Shasta County Sheriff’s Office has arrested a woman who’d been acting suspiciously. On Thursday morning, a concerned citizen of the City of Shasta Lake contacted deputies with the City of Shasta Lake Division regarding a woman standing at a RABA bus stop. The person reporting her said was seen a few days ago acting suspiciously and trespassing on his property on the north end of Black Canyon Street. Deputies made contact with her, but had no reason to detain the woman, identified as Suzanne Sullivan, a Redding transient. After she boarded the bus, a records check showed that Sullivan had a felony warrant for her arrest out of Redding for a previous burglary. Deputies followed the bus to one of the next scheduled bus stops and talked to Sullivan again, arresting her on the outstanding warrant.
