A reward is available for help finding a man suspected of threatening a woman with a gun. Redding Police say that on March 24th at about 2:30PM, Augustine Witcraft went to the home of Morgan Pineda on Farway Avenue and brandished a handgun, saying he would shoot her and that she and her family were “done” because she had been “getting into his business”. He was apparently upset about his ex-girlfriend, Vanessa Kirby, and their child and he thought that Pineda had interfered in their relationship. After the alleged threats, Witcraft fled. Kirby and the child are currently living in a safe location. Police have been told that Witcraft is selling drugs, addicted to drugs and spinning out of control, and that he’s said he will shoot at police. In fact, he has a prior conviction from 6 years ago for firing a handgun at law enforcement. Witcraft is a 37-year-old Native American man, 5-foot-8 and 180 pounds with a lot of tattoos on his neck and arms. Secret Witness is offering a $1000 reward for anonymous tips leading to his capture.
