A man who could have just gotten a simple traffic ticket is instead going to prison for felony evading. 27-year-old Perry Joseph Perez Jr was arrested in January. A Corning Police Officer tried to pull Perez over for minor traffic violations, but Perez fled at a high rate of speed. The chase ended when Perez crashed into a fence. He ran away, but the officer found a photograph of him in the car. He’s been sentenced to two years in state prison.
