RPD: Bicyclist Stopped With Ounce Of Meth

A man stopped early Wednesday morning in North Redding for riding a bicycle with no light has been busted with a significant quantity of drugs, according to police. At around 2AM, an RPD Officer stopped 52-year-old Daniel Arthur Tonjes on Lake Boulevard at North Boulder Drive. Police say Tonjes consented to a search and was found to be holding about an Ounce of Methamphetamine, along with paraphernalia and evidence of sales. He was booked into jail for possession of drugs with intent to sell.
