Redding Police apprehended a man in an Alta Mesa Neighborhood Tuesday morning. A report came in of a suspicious man near a church on Alta Mesa. Officers arrived and the man took off, running through backyards near Alta Mesa and Saturn Skyway. With the help of CHP Air Ops, he was located. He was uncooperative and tried to access an officer’s baton. He was Tased, but it had no affect. The man was finally taken into custody.
