The Shasta County Coroners Office has released the name of a man who died in a crash of a large heavy duty pickup truck Tuesday night on Oak Run Road. 27-year-old Bradley Daniel Murchison of Oak Run was behind the wheel of a Ford F-350 that was eastbound west of Oak Run to Fern Road. Just before 10 O’clock the truck left the road and overturned. Murchison was not wearing a seatbelt and he was ejected, suffering fatal injuries. The three passengers, all Southern California men in their 20s, were wearing seatbelts and they suffered cuts, abrasions and complaints of pain. They are identified as Travis Burns Russell Edwards and Anthony Slater. They were treated and released from the hospital. The CHP says alcohol is suspected of contributing to the crash.
