Man Found Who Downloaded Child Porn Has Prison Sentence Suspended

A Red Bluff man has been convicted of child pornography charges, but a judge gave him a big break in sentencing. 41-year-old Wesley Scott Duggins was arrested by Red Bluff Police in August of last year. The Sacramento High Tech Crime Task Force detected child porn being downloaded at Duggins address. A search warrant was done, turning up multiple child porn images on Duggins’ computer and cell phone. Methamphetamine was also found. The Tehama County D.A.’s Office pushed for the maximum sentence in state prison, but the judge went with the probation department’s recommendation. Duggins was given a suspended 2 year 8 month prison sentence in lieu of 5 years probation and one year in county jail.
