The motorcyclist who died Thursday night in a crash in South Redding was just 29-years-old. Brandon Lyle England was killed in the collision at around 10 O’clock on Southbound Highway 273 at Kenyon Drive. Witnesses say the Suzuki Hayabusa England was riding was traveling at more than 100 miles an hour when it rear-ended a Dodge Ram 2500 pickup. England was pronounced dead at the scene. His family has been notified. Both southbound lanes of the highway were closed between Breslauer and Kenyon for several hours as Redding Police investigated.
