Utility Repairs Will Cut Power To Some Trinity County Residents

Trinity County residents will be without power at times this month. According to the Trinity Journal, Western Area Power Administration, Pacific Gas and Electric and Trinity Public Utilities District are planning power outages to carry out maintenance of power lines. Next Tuesday and Wednesday, power will be out in Junction City, Big Flat and up to the top of Oregon Mountain from 8AM to 5PM, so that PG&E and P-U-D can replace poles. Power will be out in Weaverville, Hayfork, Douglas City and Lewiston on Friday, June 28, from Midnight to 3AM so that WAPA can repair a power line damaged in the February storms.
