The wife of former Assemblyman Brian Dahle has announced that she will run for the office that was just vacated by her husband. Republican Megan Dahle announced that she will be a candidate for the First Assembly District special election to fill the seat previously held by Brian Dahle, who was elected to the State Senate in a special election on June 4th. Megan and Brian Dahle are dryland wheat farmers, which is processed for seed as a part of the business, they also run a trucking division to transport their grain. Until 2012, Megan was a co-owner of Big Valley Nursery in Bieber.
