The CHP is seeking witnesses who can shed light on a fatal collision that killed two people Thursday in Siskiyou County. At 10:39AM 45-year-old Jack E. Ratliff and 13-year-old Jack Ratliff, both of Weed, were in a Jeep Cherokee traveling at an unknown speed southbound on Highway 97 near Solus Drive when the back of their SUV was struck by a northbound tractor-trailer driven by a 32-year-old Sacramento man. The Ratliffs were both killed while the trucker was uninjured. Any possible witnesses are urged to call the CHP at 926-2627.
