A fire destroyed a home in Cottonwood Sunday. At around 12:45PM a resident on Seales Lane and Boban Lane, located near Main Street, reported a vegetation fire behind his mobile home. It apparently had started at an outbuilding and spread. A few minutes after the first report, the man said his own home was on fire. When Cottonwood Firefighters and other agencies arrived, the mobile was fully involved. The cause is still under investigation.
