An elderly Tehama County man has been given a prison sentence for beating up a longtime rival. 78-year-old Denzil Luttrull has a very lengthy record in Tehama County, dating back to at least 1968 when he was a car salesman in Corning and was arrested for possession of amphetamines. In June of 2016 Luttrull and a man with whom he had a long history of conflict happened to run into each other at a business in Corning. Luttrull attacked the other man without provocation and beat him up severely. Convicted of felony battery with serious bodily injury, Luttrull has been sentenced to two years in prison.
