A probation compliance check did not go well for a Shasta Lake man, or for his guests. Sheriff’s deputies showed up at the house on Whiting Way at 9:30AM Tuesday morning to find seven people, who were all apparently living there. There have been many visits to the house by law enforcement and many complaints by neighbors. On Tuesday a number of building and safety code violations were found. Code enforcement officers were called and they eventually red-tagged the home as unsafe and uninhabitable. The owner, Phillip Belcher, was allegedly in possession of Methamphetamine and he was booked into jail. The other six people were put out on the street.
