Smoke may be visible from a planned prescribed burn Tuesday in Tehama County. Weather permitting, the Tehama-Glenn Unit of Cal Fire is planning on torching 61 acres of grass along Highway 36 east from Palmer Gulch to the intersection of 36 with Paynes Creek. This is a fuel reduction project designed to reduce fire danger along the highway. One-way controlled traffic will be in effect during the operation. The burn will start at 4PM Tuesday and should be completed by the next morning at 4AM.
