Shasta County drug agents made an arrest Monday night in Redding. At 6:30PM, SINFT Agents arrived at a home on Windsong Lane to do a probation search on Eric Scott Brown, who’s on probation for a gun-related conviction. Brown did not respond when hailed, but he was eventually found in a travel trailer, where agents also reported finding a large quantity of ammunition and numerous gun holsters and cases, along with an unspecified amount of Methamphetamine. A more thorough search of the property was done and agents reportedly found four rifles, two shotguns and a revolver, as well as more ammunition and a ballistic vest. One of the guns was confirmed to be stolen and another had the serial numbers filed off. Brown was booked into jail on several charges.
