Crews Continue Work On Highway 299

Travelers on Highway 299 west will be facing fewer delays in one construction zone starting Saturday. Crews working on the DRI-Whiskey Project between the Towns of Shasta and French Gulch will not be working on the project until after Labor Day. Meanwhile, the project to install a turnout on Highway 299 between Junction City & Weaverville is underway. Motorists can anticipate up to 15 minute delays in the area, Monday-Friday between 7AM & 4PM. Crews are working Monday & Tuesday and will return Tuesday, September 3rd at 7AM.
