Redding Police Officers were in anguish early Thursday morning upon discovering a stolen donut delivery van. The van belonging to Little Maya Bakery had apparently been stolen from Sonoma. In a Facebook post the RPD says that when officers looked inside what they found broke their hearts: over 100 discarded donuts without a home. They say they were heartbroken that all the donuts had to be thrown away. Officers searched the area around Oregon and Tehama Streets where the van was found, but they could not locate any suspects.
