Officers Cite 2 During Courthouse Sting Operation

It could be called instant justice, or it could be called making a bad day worse. Redding Police conducted a courthouse sting targeting people with suspended driver’s licenses. The operation was done Monday morning. Plainclothes officers sat in traffic court and watched to see if someone’s license was suspended by the court. Those suspensions are usually effective immediately. The plainclothes officer was in radio contact with a uniformed officer outside, who observed whether the defendants leaving with suspended licenses were driving away. 43-year-old Brodie Fisher Jr. and 51-year-old Christopher Foster were both cited and their cars were towed away and impounded.
