Man Who Crashed Car During Pursuit Sentenced To 6 Years

A man arrested by Corning Police in June after a chase ended with a crash has been sentenced. 34-year-old Michael Fowler was being pursued by officers when he turned into a driveway and crashed into a parked car at a home daycare facility where many children were present and in harm’s way. Fowler then fled on foot and, with the assistance of the CHP, he was located inside a travel trailer on a nearby property. No children were injured during the incident. Fowler has been sentenced to 6 years in state prison.
