A woman who was approached in the Walmart parking lot in Yreka is being credited with helping law enforcement in the arrest of a wanted man. The Yreka Police Department is thanking citizens of the city, especially Trisha Falcone, for reporting a suspicious man who contacted her in the parking lot. He tried to get Falcone out of her car and into his. After she told him to go away, she said the look on his face, was something from a horror movie. The man was later identified as 56-year-old Safaei Ali from Sunnyvale. After the incident, Falcone posted a warning on Facebook and notified the police department.Ali was wanted by the San Jose Police Department for kidnapping and false imprisonment. There was a warrant issued for his arrest after he was contacted in Yreka. The Yreka Police Department put out a B.O.L.O. to allied agencies and Ali was arrested Tuesday morning in Ashland, Oregon.
