Two Found Guilty Of Man’s Murder Sentenced To 18 Years

Two people have been sentenced for the murder of a homeless man last year. 22-year-old Joshua Powell-Hatwig was killed last August. His body was found under a bridge on Favretto Avenue between Fell and State Streets in the Parkview Neighborhood. Evidence was collected at the scene and interviews were done, leading to the arrests of two acquaintances of Powell-Hatwig. Lindsey Ann Waite and Russell David Karfs Lewis, who were also homeless, confessed to the killing. They were each sentenced on Friday to 18 years in state prison.
