A 19-year-old Redding man is getting a possible life prison sentence for committing violent sexual acts against children. Tanner Cordis Smith pleaded guilty in a Shasta County courtroom Tuesday to forcible sodomy on a person under 14 and forcible lewd acts upon a child, as well as an enhancement for multiple victims. On October 30th he’ll be be sentenced to 20 years to life in state prison. Redding Police were assisted in their investigation by police in Glendale, Arizona.
