In spite of high winds and low humidity, firefighters were able to contain a Tehama County vegetation fire at 68 acres. It was reported around 9AM Wednesday morning in the area off of Ingraham Road in South Corning, just north of the county line. It was near the area of a fire the previous day. With a red flag warning in effect, it’s just a coincidence, but this is Fire Prevention Week.
